After taking your breakfast at the hotel, you will meet with our experienced local tour guide and other participants the tour begins to explore the wonderful nature of Pamukkale. Visit ancient city ruins of the City of Hierapolis included the Necropolis, Frontinius Street, Frontinius Gate, Latrina, Northern Byzantine Gate, Bath and Basilica, Fountain of the Tritons, and the Temple of Apollon. Continue to see the gleaming white travertine terraces of Pamukkale, located next to the ruins of Hierapolis. You will continue to enjoy the Cotton Cliffs, one of the natural wonders of the world formed by deposits of calcareous salts. The extraordinary effect is created when water from the hot springs loses carbon dioxide as it flows down the slopes, leaving deposits of limestone. The layers of white calcium carbonate, built up in steps on the plateau, gave the site the name Pamukkale (cotton castle). At the end of the historical guided tour, you’ll have some free time to explore the area on your own. As an option, you may choose to enjoy in the Pamukkale on the small travertine pools during this free time or swim in the Cleopatra Antique Thermal Pool (admission fee extra). Your tour guide will inform you about the exact meeting point and time. Drop off at the hotel. Overnight hotel. (B/L).
